During the pandemic, kids really missed out on celebrating turning a year older with friends in traditional children’s party fashion. And, while weekly birthday gatherings of 30-ish hyperactive children aren’t necessarily missed by parents (!), with lockdown restrictions practically a distant memory, you can now make up for lost time. Known for their school holiday clubs (my kids did a Harry Potter-themed day with them once), The Outdoors Project also run 1.5 hour-long birthday parties for groups of 10+ on Saturdays at either 10am, 12pm or 2.30pm at Horfield Common.

Are your offspring enthusiastic wall-scrawlers or budding Banksys?! For the mama of all fun party ideas, why not encourage them to decorate somewhere other than your walls with a Graffiti Party?
Graffarty party organisers can come to your house if you have a suitable garden area for the party, or to the venue that you have hired if there is an outdoor area (there needs to be enough space for the easels they use to do the spray painting on). The Nail Shed on Gloucester Road don’t offer children’s parties anymore but they still do a ‘mini beauty lovers’ manicures that can be booked for a maximum party size of four children. £16 per person.
