1. Avon Valley Pumpkin Patch, Keynsham
Avon Valley’s Pumpkin Patch is a veritable jack-o’-lantern extravaganza! Grab a wheelbarrow and pick from their home-grown patch, then wander the Big Boo Trail, a walk-through of Halloween installations, illuminations and photo spots (new for 2026), have a go on the pay-per-play games like the apple slingshot, and browse the seasonal shop for fancy dress. Don’t fancy the mud? There’s a speciality market where you can choose a pumpkin without venturing into the field.
For an extra special experience, visit during Pumpkin Patch Nights for twinkly lights, live performers, street food, fire pits and a vibrant Halloween atmosphere.
Good to know: book ahead, as it does sell out and on-the-day tickets cost more. Pumpkins, rides and games are extra. Dogs are welcome with their own ticket. The patch is separate from Avon Valley Adventure Park, which is closed at this time of year. The field isn’t suitable for pushchairs.
2. Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm Pumpkinfest 2026
Head to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, just outside Bristol, where pumpkins are grown with natural fertiliser (thanks to a little help from their elephants and rhinos!). The patch is fully accessible, with easy pathways and viewing areas, so everyone can snaffle their perfect pumpkin. Combine it with a day at the zoo for the full autumn experience.
3. Poplars Farm, Frampton Cotterell
Poplars Farm, on the northern edge of Bristol, is transformed into a Halloween wonderland with haunting decorations, pumpkin picking and marshmallow toasting. It’s small and friendly, which makes it ideal for toddlers and preschoolers. Finish with a hot chocolate in the farm café.

5. Puxton Park, near Weston-super-Mare
The Puxton Park pumpkin patch is free to enter and sits outside the main adventure park, so you only pay for the pumpkins you pick. Look out for unusual white, black and spotty varieties, autumn photo spots and vintage tractors, plus cakes and hot chocolate at the patch. No need to pre-book, just turn up.
6. Pumpkin Festival at Farrington’s, Farrington Gurney
