One of my favourite things about my job, is when people send me a hamper of goodies. And even more so when said hamper contains items such as cocktails*!
I was recently the lucky recipient of such a hamper from Jet2 holidays, in celebration of Bristol as their newest base in the UK in return for a review of the hamper and some dedicated cyber space on my blog. The airline now flies to 40 destinations from Bristol Airport – including Mallorca, Ibiza, Kefalonia and Lanzarote – see the full list of destinations here.

As well as enticing beach breaks and hot weather destinations, Jet2 can also whisk you away for a city break – Funchal, Palma and Dubrovnik are just some of the places on the list for 2021/22.
If you’re as confused as I am about new travel requirements and which destinations are in Green, Amber and Red, Jet2 has set up an information page for customers to help when booking a holiday. You’ll also find the airline’s latest deals here.
*My latest box of treats included ‘Malibu Rising’ by Taylor Jenkins Reid – reviewed on the back by one of my ‘Sheroes’ Pandora Sykes. The book looks like the perfect holiday read and I can’t wait to get stuck into it. I also received a gorgeous travel-style notebook with fresh white pages, waiting for scrawled notes and musings. The Lonely Planet’s coffee table tome ‘Where to go When’ was another welcome surprise – the book is really handy for getaway planning, as it details the best places to go each month of the year.

I’ve also got a European scratch off map, which will be great for getting the kids to visualise where they’ve been on the map, some scrummy-smelling Bondi Sands sun tan lotion and After Sun and a selfie stick to snap the action (although the adaptor wire is quite ancient and certainly won’t fit my iPhone)!
For added travel nostalgia there’s also a disposable camera (I’m going to introduce the girls to this ancient fun form of technology!), some headphones and money off a future Jet2 holiday – woohoo! I’ll light my delicious-scented Libon candle and dream of far-away lands.
Finally the Yoshi waterprfoo phone protector is going to be great for protecting my iPhone while paddleboarding, and then there’s those aforementioned cocktails! A craft cocktail pack containing a Pornstar Martini, Rhubabr Cosmopolitan, Manhattan Sour and a Negroni from the Spirit of Zing.
